It also outlines how T\u00fcreli &amp; Ceylan Law Firm can support clients throughout this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What Is Debt Enforcement?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pursuant to Articles 42 et seq. of the Turkish Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law (EBL \/ \u0130cra ve \u0130flas Kanunu \u2013 \u0130\u0130K):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA creditor may apply to the enforcement office to recover their receivable or security, initiating enforcement proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enforcement (or execution) is a legal process whereby a creditor seeks payment of an outstanding debt via enforcement offices&nbsp;<strong>without first obtaining a court judgment<\/strong>. There are two types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Non-Judicial (Unenforced) Enforcement (\u0130lams\u0131z Takip):<\/strong>\u00a0Initiated without a court judgment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Judicial (Enforced) Enforcement (\u0130laml\u0131 Takip):<\/strong>\u00a0Based on a court decision (e.g. maintenance, eviction, or any final judgment).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Payment Order Served to the Debtor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon initiation of proceedings, the enforcement office issues a&nbsp;<strong>Payment Order<\/strong>&nbsp;(\u0130cra Tebligat\u0131) to the debtor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EBL Article 60:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe debtor must either pay the debt or raise an objection within seven (7) days of receiving the notice.
